Georgie Smedley
Georgie Smedley is the official EzFlow Distributor for areas including North London, Essex, Middlesex and Hertfordshire having been given the chance to join the team of Distributors and Educators in July 2005.
Georgie accomplished her Master Artist Educator Status in July 2006 which enables her to teach to the next level of excellence in nail technology. Georgie provides excellent training courses to students of all levels at her new and larger Nail Academy premises. Her recent move to the new premises due to the sheer growth of her business, shows professional, high quality and thoroughly enjoyable courses.
Georgie’s career in nails began after becoming fascinated by the whole procedure of watching her sister having Fibreglass nails done. So she decided to look into nail training courses and 3 weeks later she was on her first 2 day beginner course in Fibreglass. Her career in nails blossomed from there and she progressed into becoming an Educator, an Area Training Manager which involved training and managing up to 8 Educators and then to Product Development Manager where she was assigned to work side by side with chemists in developing new and exciting gels and acrylics.
In order to raise her profile in the nail industry, Georgie decided to start entering the National Nail Competitions in 2005. She was thrilled to get 1st Place at her FIRST competition ever! Since then, Georgie has been invited to be part of EzFlow’s Elite UK Competition Team with excellent incentives. She has received 3rd place in Tips and Acrylic overlays and 1st Place in Acrylic Sculpted nails in division 3 and came 2nd in Division 2 of the Nailympics 2006; the worlds Largest nail competition.
Being an EzFlow distributor has also led Georgie to tend the talons of movie stars, run seminars at Nail Exhibitions and has gone on to produce 3 DVD’s for professional Nail Technicians.
