Reporting to:

Education Manager


To communicate and co-ordinate education courses offered by Grafton International to new and existing customers developing business within the education department. 


Key Tasks / Responsibilities

  • To promote the company and available education to its best advantage, dealing with enquires and bookings, communicating correct educational programs to enhance sales.
  • Efficient administration of enquires, bookings, confirmations, course certificates and other educational documents/reports, working to timescales and deadlines.
  • To mark and co-ordinate Eyelash Emporium student case studies in line with set procedures. (Approximately 40% of working week)
  • To develop, maintain and effectively manage the education database to promote and secure future educational courses.
  • To report clearly any day to day activities that may affect the department and its growth, customer complaints/satisfaction, competitors’ activity and general team correspondence to the appropriate education manager.
  • To provide superior customer service/support for all new and existing customers on all levels by acquiring a thorough working knowledge of all company education courses and a thorough understanding of all their content.
  • To provide and efficiently operate a retail opportunity through running regular shop activity in the retail zone, including the co-ordination of external group visits.

Other Tasks / Responsibilities

  • To liaise whenever necessary with your Supervisor, Brand Managers, Customer Service Manager, Educators and Divisional Manager to ensure a high level of health and safety, customer service and technical support are maintained.
  • To co-ordinate and communicate with all educators providing initial contact for their queries.
  • To communicate with sales teams, marketing and customer services department to effectively promote the education zone services.
  • Attendance at all national education sales meetings, exhibitions and company organised training sessions directed by your supervisor.
  • To have knowledge of the competitor market relating to education.
  • To meet monthly sales targets for the department within budgeted price levels or better. Producing monthly reports to actively support this.
  • To co-ordinate and maintain throughout the day the general presentation of all education rooms and reception area, including notice boards, display units/coffee making facilities and other.
  • To maintain training and retail stock levels/education manuals in all product ranges required for all education purpose with budget guidelines, counting and recording stock monthly in retail zone.
  • Meet and greet all students attending courses at Grafton International; working with a daily register, providing thorough information on Health and Safety following company protocol.
  • Meet and greet all visitors to Grafton providing hospitality as directed by a senior manager or Company Director.  
  • Occasional field visits with education managers/area managers.
  • Organising weekly post to educators and other divisional, including the process of Educator and Sales Team orders including paperwork, manuals and product.
  • To acquire and develop all necessary professional customer service/selling skills through meetings, training sessions and by discussion, reading and constant practice.
  • To organise and communicate timetable of workload to cleaners.
  • Any other general office admin duties that may be required by the Sales Division, under the direction of the Divisional Sales Manager.

Skills Required

  • Proficient I.T skills, including use of Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Customer service role
  • Ability and confidence to make and prioritise decisions.
  • Good use of PowerPoint advantageous
  • Knowledge of NAV and Power BI advantageous
  • To carry out all duties / tasks in a professional manner at all times
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team and prioritise workload
  • Beauty/ individual Eyelash qualifications an advantage but not essential


  • This is a full-time head office based position (8:30 am till 5.00 pm with an hour for lunch).  Holiday entitlement is 20 days per year to be taken at any time in the year plus 3 further days to be taken at Christmas.  Bank holidays are given in addition.
