Hi, I’m Louise, I have worked for Grafton international as an Education co-ordinator for the last 8 years. Prior to this I studied for my BA in Education Studies at Leeds Metropolitan University and then went on to train as a Beauty & Massage Therapist. Once I qualified I worked as a therapist for 4 years in 2 very busy salons and got to work with a range of fantastic products and brands. I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to work at Grafton International as an Education Coordinator as I got to utilise all the theoretical knowledge from my degree and practical experience from working as a therapist. One of the key roles of the Education Department is to arrange and facilitate training courses and demo days for all of our professional brands in College, Salon and Wholesale. We love to inspire people and gain a great deal of satisfaction from providing the quality education courses needed to help build peoples skills As a department we are also involved in exhibiting at Professional Trade shows, attending regional road shows to showcase our brands and providing educators for London Fashion week and celebrity nail clients. To meet these needs we currently have 18 self-employed educators working for us covering courses from beginner to advanced in the area of nails and waxing. Needless to say this along with our other commitments keeps us very busy! I am a very socialable person and love the fact that my role allows me to engage and speak to a wide variety of people and also enables me to try out the latest nail and beauty products.
